Bhubaneswar: Following the success of tourist special trains to pilgrimage destinations, the Indian Railways will run another special train for the passengers from Bhubaneswar for south India destinations.
The “Bharat Darshan Tourist Train to South India” will leave Bhubaneswar on January 2, 2021 at 10 pm. It will have stoppages at Rameswaram, Madurai and Tirupati. The passengers of the region may board the train from Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Srikakulam, Vizianagram, Visakhaptnam and Vijayawada with tourist package system.
This is an all inclusive tourist package for 7 nights and 8 days at a cost of Rs 8085. It includes Sleeper Class train journey, accommodation, vegetarian meals, tourist buses, escorts & security guards, travel insurance. The passengers can book from IRCTC website http://www.irctctourism.com and IRCTC Tourist Facilitation Centre.
All COVID-19 precautions such as periodic sanitisation, pre-sanitisation of hotels/dharmsalas and luggages, thermal screening will be provided.
