Bhubaneswar: Mihir Das (Bhija Matira Swarga) and Archita Sahu (Champion) have won the state award for best actor and actress in 2018 respectively.
This was announced by Tourism and Culture Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi at a press briefing here on Tuesday.
The other winners of 30th Odisha State Film Awards-2018 include Manmohan Mohapatra (best director- Bhija Matira Swarga), Basantraj Samal (best lyricist), Karunakar (best playback singer male), Antara Chakraborty (best singer female) and D. Niranjan Reddy (best story writer- Ole Ole Dil Bole).
Akshay Parija will receive the Mohan Sundar Dev Goswami Award for ‘Bhija Matira Swarga’, which was adjudged the best feature film.
Dramatist and lyricist Bijay Mishra will be conferred with the prestigious Jayadev Award for lifetime achievement and contribution to Odia movies.
The film awards were announced in 27 categories.
The seventh tele awards were also announced on the occasion.
