Mumbai: The fun-and-fear filled trailer of this year’s most-anticipated movie Bhool Bhulaiya 2 is out. In this 190 seconds trailer, Karthik Aaryan can be seen playing the fake ghostbuster, Ruhan. The movie directed by Anees Bazmi is about Manjulika “the haunted ghost” returning to the vintage building after 15 years to strike her target and Tabu guiding Kartik Aaryan to bust the ghost.
It is the sequel of the 2007 super hit drama Bhool Bhulaiya directed by Priyadarshan.
In the trailer, Karthik Aaryan can be seen cracking jokes like, “mein bhooton ke beech mein pala badha hun” (I have been raised around ghosts) and “Donald trump ke tweets aur chudail ke feet humesha ulta hote hain” (Donald trump’s tweet and witch’s feet are always opposite).
Kiara Advani, who plays Karthik’s love interest, seems susceptible to being possessed by the ghost. Rajpal Yadav, who was seen in a humorous part in its prequel, will surprise the audience with some cool lines this time.
The director, who has earlier presented some best commercial entertainers like Ready, No Entry and Welcome, is believed to have waved his magic wand this time too. Speculation is rife that Kiara Advani might be playing the same contrasting role as Vidya Balan in Part 1.
Kiara’s recently released poster on her Instagram page hints at that. “Meet Reet, Don’t be fooled. She’s not so sweet”. The film will also anchor the Superhit Bengali song from the earlier part “Ami Je Tomar”.
Bhool Bhulaiya 2 produced by Bhusan Kumar is set for May 20 release.
