Bhubaneswar: The capital city accounted for all the 14 COVID-19 positive cases detected in Khurda district in the last 24 hours.
The city, which saw a drop in positive cases to 4 on Thursday from Wednesday’s 9, reported 14 fresh patients on Friday.
Of the new cases, one is from quarantine and 13 are local contacts, according to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With the day’s addition, COVID-19 active cases in the Capital City stand at 81 with 16 patients recovering from the disease during the period.
The total cases in the city have gone up to 32,133. While 31,781 patients have recovered, 250 have succumbed to the disease so far, the BMC stated in a tweet.
