Bhubaneswar: For the convenience of air passengers, the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar will have FASTag-based parking facility for the vehicles on its premises.
Airtel Payments Bank, one of the leading FASTag issuers in India, has collaborated with Park+ to provide FASTag parking solution at the airport. “We aim to offer a simple, secure and seamless payment experience to our customers and have partnered with Park+ to introduce a FASTag-based parking at Bhubaneswar Airport. This will not only save time of the fliers but also ease movement of vehicles which are now crowding the airport,” said Ganesh Ananthanarayanan, Chief Operating Officer, Airtel Payments Bank.
Amit Lakhotia, Founder and CEO, Park+ said they have collaborated with Airtel Payments Banks and Airport Authority of India to extend its FASTag parking management system in Bhubaneswar. “By downloading the Park+ app, Bhubaneswar residents can recharge their FASTag. Besides helping the user find a parking spot and track the challans, it also offers car insurance cover. We plan to expand our smart parking services exponentially in next 3-4 months,” he added.
The two companies are working together to streamline the payment process by reducing the time spent in queues at major parking lots across the country and will make the service live at other airports also.
