Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday revealed details about the new 102 COVID-19 patients in the state.
A day after Bhubaneswar was declared corona-free with all patients having been fully cured, two more persons tested positive for the virus in the city. They are among the four cases detected in Khurda district in the last 24 hours. The other two are Gujarat returnees.
The other new cases have been reported from Jajpur (31), Bhadrak (21), Kendrapara (8), Cuttack (4), Puri (4), Jagatsinghpur (23), Angul (2), Balasore (2), Sambalpur (2) and Nayagarh (1).
The I & PR department, in a tweet, informed that two from Sambalpur with travel history to West Bengal, one from Nayagarh and two from Angul with travel history to Surat, eight from Kendrapada, among them two who had recently returned from West Bengal, three from Tamil Nadu, one from Karnataka and two from Maharashtra, have tested positive for COVID-19.
Of four cases in Cuttack, three had recently returned from Maharashtra, Telangana and Tamil Nadu respectively, while one was a local contact.
In Jajpur, 30 are West Bengal returnees and one from Telangana. Similarly in Bhadrak, 12 patients had recently returned from West Bengal, one from Andhra Pradesh, two from Tamil Nadu and six from Gujarat.
All 23 cases Jagatsinghpur have detected in quarantine centres with 20 among them with travel history to West Bengal and three to Gujarat.
All four cases in Puri are Surat returnees.

All of them were in government quarantine centres, the tweet said, adding that two locals have tested positive for the virus in Balasore.
