Bhubaneswar: A car dealer was allegedly found hanging at his Kharavel Nagar residence in the Odisha capital on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Vicky Harish Puri.
Police suspect that the car dealer might have committed suicide. “We found a suicide note in the room. He was under tremendous pressure owing to some financial crunch. He had borrowed a lot of money from the market. The lenders have been pressurising him to pay back,” a police officer was quoted as saying by TOI.
Puri was alone at home when he took the extreme step. “We will record the statements of his family members, friends and acquaintances. His recent activities, including his meeting with his acquaintances and telephone calls, would be examined,” the officer added.
