Bhubaneswar-Based JSS STP Bags STPI Export Awards

Bhubaneswar: JSS Software Technology Parks (STP) was conferred with STPI Export Awards in the category of ‘Highest Contribution of Exports and Employment by Private STP IT Park’ here on Friday evening.

Founder and chairman of JSS STP Pvt Ltd Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo received the award.

The award ceremony was graced by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Among others, Minister
Electronic and ITTusharkanti Behera, Director General of STPI Omkar Rai and Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy were present.

Director of the company Arabinda Das also attended the ceremony.

This is the fourth time that the JSS STP has received the award.

“Setting up the First Private Software Technology Park of Odisha at Bhubaneswar, the biggest IT corridor of eastern India, was a dream come true for me and I am thankful to the government to have acknowledged my efforts,” Sahoo said.

To meet the long-standing demands from the IT companies in the small and medium enterprise
sector, the first private Software Technology Park of Odisha was initiated by JSS Group. It was
inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in 2010.

JSS received the STPI awards for three consecutive years in 2013-14, 2014-15, and 2015-16.

The Export award ceremony is a part of Technology Sabha 2020.
