Bhubaneswar: Over 25 passengers of a Bhubaneswar-bound bus sustained injuries as it overturned after crashing into a truck on National Highway-16 near Palada Chhak of Bhandaripokhari in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Wednesday morning.
The accident took place around 3 am when the driver of the ill-fated bus lost control over the vehicle and rammed a stationary truck. The bus was en route to Bhubaneswar from Kolkata, sources said.
The injured were admitted to Bhandaripokhari hospital and five among them later shifted to the district headquarters hopsital.
On Tuesday, more than 20 passengers were injured, two of them critically, after the bus in which they were travelling overturned near Patarani Chhak in Dhenkanal district while heading towards Banasingh.
