Bhubaneswar Chapter Of CREDAI Resolves To Make Housing Industry More Efficient

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar chapter of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) has resolved to look into various problems plaguing the housing sector and make the housing industry more efficient in coming days.

Speaking at the first general body meeting of CREDAI, Bhubaneswar chapter held in the city on Saturday, its president Sofia Firdous said the crisis in the housing sector will be resolved by having a substantive discussion with ORERA and various departments of the state government. The housing industry will be made more efficient in the coming days, she added.

She also announced the CREDAI will take up 5 programmes to find solution to the issues shortly and sought cooperation from all members. Expressing pleasure that 5 new members had joined the Chapter, Firdous hoped that more developers will join in the coming days.

Jagat Kar, secretary, CREDAI-Bhubaneswar said the Confederation will focus on the application of latest technology in the field of housing construction and infrastructure development in the city. It was the first general body meeting after the formation of the new management body of the chapter on August 2.

Brahma Mishra, president of Utkal Chambers of Commerce, who joined the meeting as a special guest, expressed his willingness to support activities of CREDAI’s Bhubaneswar Chapter in every possible way.

Among others, Dewa Shankar Tripathy and Binay Krishna Das, founder members CREDAI Odisha; Sangram Keshari Sahoo, Chairman, CREDAI Bhubaneswar; Soumyajeet Mohanty & Bobbili Satyanarana, vice-president; Manmohan Agarwalla and Jyoti Ranjan Behuria, joint secretary; Ashok Kumar Patro, Treasurer and executive members of CREDAI-Bhubaneswar participated in the deliberations. Binay Krishna Das proposed vote of thanks.
