Bhubaneswar COVID Cases Dip Again; 391 Recover From Infection

Bhubaneswar: The capital city reported 343 new COVID-19 cases and during the last 24 hours against 496 the previous day.

While 86 were quarantine cases, 257 were from local contacts, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation tweeted on Friday.

The highest of 17 cases were reported from Khandagiri, followed by 16 from Pati and 14 from Nayapalli while 12 cases were from Chandrasekharpur.

As many as 391 patients recovered during this period. With this, the city has now 1504 active cases.

The total caseload of the city reached 88,488 with detection of the fresh cases.

The city has reported 425 deaths due to the virus infection so far and 86,538 persons have recovered.
