Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lighting in some parts of 21 districts of Odisha.
The weather condition will prevail in Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Puri, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Balangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Bargarh and Nabarangpur in next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
