Bhubaneswar Daily COVID-19 Caseload Breaches 300-Mark; Highest From Khandagiri Again

Bhubaneswar: After reporting around 190 new infections for two days in a row, the Odisha capital saw a big jump in daily COVID-19 caseload as 309 more people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 238 are local contact cases and 69 from quarantine.

Khandagiri again reported the highest of 24 positive cases, followed by 19  from Nayapalli, 17 from Patia, eight each from Old Town and Chandrasekharpur.

Among the quarantine cases, nine cases are reported from Patia and six from Sailashree Vihar.

Bhubaneswar also saw 62 more patients getting cured of the infection during the period.

With this, the city now has 1481 active cases
