Bhubaneswar: She is only 10 years, but Bhubaneswar girl Saranya Samantray has brought glory to Odisha by securing the second position in the International Little Miss Competition in Hong Kong.
Saranya is studying in Class-V in St Joseph School in Bhubaneswar.
The competition was held in Hong Kong this month and saw 64 participants from 22 countries. Saranya represented India.
A competition was held in April, 2019 in Kerala. Saranya was the first runners up in that competition and selected to go to Hong Kong. The final round was held in Hong Kong from August 23 to 27.
She was also in top five in talent round.
Saranya returned home to Bhubaneswar to a grand welcome on Wednesday.
