Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital was the hottest place in the state at 39 degree Celsius on Friday.
It was also the hottest day for Bhubaneswar in February this year. The mercury soared above 35 degree Celsius in 13 other cities across the state as well.
According to the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, the temperature is likely to increase further on Saturday and decrease after February 25 as the weather is predicted to remain partly cloudy.
