Bhubaneswar Logs 327 New COVID Cases; 20 Deaths

Bhubaneswar: After reporting 295 cases on Tuesday, Bhubaneswar on Wednesday saw a slight rise in daily caseload with 327 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

The capital city had reported 271 cases on Monday.

Of the new cases, 57 were from quarantine and 270 were local contacts, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated in its tweet.

Khandagiri registered highest of 30 cases, followed by Patia (17), Nayapalli (12) and Badagada (11).

The city logged 246 recoveries while there are 1,164 active cases. The number of deceased has touched 552 with 20 more deaths registered in the city during the period.

A total of  92,863 patients have recovered from the virus and the total cases are 94,600.
