Bhubaneswar: The capital city logged 387 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Of these, 338 were local contacts and only 49 quarantine cases.
The city had recorded 317 cases the previous day after constantly remaining below the 300 mark for three days.
Of the total cases, the highest of 29 are from Khandagiri, 25 from Chandrasekhapur, 16 each from Patrapada and Nayapalli, 15 from Old Town and 13 from Jharpada.
The city had logged 340 recoveries while 1,169 active cases were reported. The number of deceased has touched 486 (6 deaths in last 24 hours).
Till today, 90,669 patients have recovered from the virus. The total number of cases in Bhubaneswar has now gone up to 92,345.
