Bhubaneswar: A man has been arrested by Bhubaneswar police for refusing to marrying a girl after keeping physical relationship with her.
He has been identified as Arajit Jena, a Data Entry Operator of Rudrapur in the city. The arrest was made basing on a complaint filed by the girl at Infocity police station.
Sources said, Jena was working at a government hospital in Patia area last year when he met the girl, who was working as an attendant.
The two fell in love and he assured to marry her. Jena is also reported to have introduced the girl to his family members. After winning her confidence, he took her to hotels in the city on two seperate occasion and entered into a physical relationship with her.
But, when the girl insisted on marriage, he stopped receiving her calls. On occasions, when he received the call he would abuse her, she stated in her complaint at the .
Police sent the two for medical examination.
