Bhubaneswar Man To Head Coca Cola India & SW Asia Operations

New Delhi: Global beverages major Coca-Cola has appointed Sanket Ray as the president of its India and Southwest Asia region operations. He belongs to Bhubaneswar.

Sanket, who is at present chief operating officer for Mainland China, will take over from T Krishnakumar, the current president of the India and Southwest Asia business unit, the company said in a statement. Krishnakumar will become chairman of Coca-Cola India Inc.

Sanket is a mechanical engineering graduate from Bhopal NIT. He also holds an MBA degree from XIMB, sources said.

He was a student of DM School and completed his Plus II from BJB College here. His father Dr SK Ray is a veterinarian.

The Coca-Cola Company’s India and Southwest Asia business unit has operations in markets such as India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
