New Delhi: Global beverages major Coca-Cola has appointed Sanket Ray as the president of its India and Southwest Asia region operations. He belongs to Bhubaneswar.
Sanket, who is at present chief operating o
fficer for Mainland China, will take over from T Krishnakumar, the current president of the India and Southwest Asia business unit, the company said in a statement. Krishnakumar will become chairman of Coca-Cola India Inc.
Sanket is a mechanical engineering graduate from Bhopal NIT. He also holds an MBA degree from XIMB, sources said.
He was a student of DM School and completed his Plus II from BJB College here. His father Dr SK Ray is a veterinarian.
The Coca-Cola Company’s India and Southwest Asia business unit has operations in markets such as India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
