Bhubaneswar: The cricket-special buses are a hit with selfie lovers. Apart from writing messages for Team India, fans lined up to take selfies at Master Canteen and other places.
The special buses are designed to reduce traffic congestion and also provide a safe and comfortable transportation solution for fans commuting to Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
“It was really convenient to use the bus. We didn’t have to worry about parking and traffic,” said Ranjan Padhi, who travelled with his family from Master Canteen to Barabati. “Newspapers served in the bus were a nice touch,” he added.
The special buses are operating on two routes, one on NH16 and other via Nandankanan.
“The roads near the stadium get crowded during every match, and it becomes difficult for us women to ride a two-wheeler in the night and go back to Patia. We are really glad that Mo Bus will drop us back at night,” said Shradhanjali Mohanty, an IT professional working in Bhubaneswar.
Fans can take buses back to Bhubaneswar from 9 pm onwards from Barabati Stadium.
