New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: BJP leader and Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi met Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi on Thursday and discussed various infrastructure projects in her constituency.
During the meeting, Sarangi urged Gadkari to approve the construction of various underpasses and flyovers in Bhubaneswar in view of growing traffic.
“Met Minister Sri @nitin_gadkari yesterday and requested him for a couple of Vehicle Under passes and flyovers in my Bhubaneswar Constituency and beyond. These requests had been made by people from all over Odisha. I was assured of all support. Thanked him for his help so far,” she tweeted.
Sarangi also requested Gadkari to expedite the approval for construction of a flyover at an accident-prone area at Hanspal.
She also met Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya on Thursday and discussed the health sector in Bhubaneswar and the state as well as AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
