Bhubaneswar: The Enforcement squad of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday sealed the office building of software major Tech Mahindra at Maitree Vihar in Odisha Capital for alleged violation of Standard Operating Procedure in containing COVID-19.
Seven employees of the company have tested positive for COVID-19.
Briefing the media, BMC Zonal Deputy Commissioner Pramod Prusty said 67 staff of the company have been asked to undergo home quarantine till July 20. The swabs of all the staff will be sent for COVID-19 test, he added.
On July 3, the third floor of Tech Mahindra office building was closed after a staffer was found infected. Around 32 staffers, who had come in contact, were then quarantined, sources said.
