Bhubaneswar: Restoration of electric power under Bhubaneswar Electrical Division is going on in full swing and it was likely to be restored in the outskirts of the city like DPS on May 11; Govindpur on May 13; Trinath Bazar, Pahala, Govindpur, Bhingarpur and Gangeswar on May 14; and Naharkanta, Balianta and Atala on May 15 subject to availability of 33 KV supply.
The energy department said in a release that power has been restored in Rasulgarh, some areas in Brahmeswar, Lingaraj, BJB Nagar, Mausi Maa, Badagada, Water Works I and II, Pokhariput, Bhimtangi, Kalpana, Puri Road, Mancheswar Feeder II, Laxmisagar, Bomikhal, VSS Nagar and SBI Colony on Thursday morning. The remaining areas in these localities will get power in a week’s time.
Power was restored in important locations like IRC Village, Baramunda bus stand, Apollo Hospital, Institute of Physics and Railway Hospital on Wednesday evening.
