Bhubaneswar: A day after a massive blast at a petrol pump in Bhubaneswar, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) on Thursday announced compensation for the victims in line with a directive from Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
As per the announcement, the family of the person who died will be provided Rs 8 lakh. Besides, the family of the seriously injured will be given Rs 4 lakh and the kin of the partially injured persons will receive Rs 1 lakh immediately.
