ersity in Bhubaneswar, has been admitted as a mental health expert by the International Olympic Committee, Lausanne, to help elite athletes.
Dr Dash, who underwent the course with IOC, recently qualified as a mental health expert for athletes and received a certificate signed by IOC president Kirsty Coventry and IOC Health, Medicine and Science Commission Chair Dr Robin E
Mitchell.
Founder President of SOA, Manojranjan Nayak, congratulated Dr Dash on becoming the first mental health expert from Odisha to be recognised by the IOC. He wished him greater successes in the future. Rajesh Kumar Lenka, Medical Superintendent of the IMS and SUM Hospital-2 at Phulnakhara, was present on the occasion.
“My goal will be to help athletes in Odisha to improve their performance and shine on the global stage,” Dr Dash said.
