Bhubaneswar: The capital city reported 374 new COVID-19 cases during the last 24 hours, a slight increase from 343 the previous day.
Of the fresh cases, 77 were from quarantine and 297 were local contacts, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation tweeted on Saturday.
Patia (25) reported the highest number of cases, followed by Chandrasekharpur (23), Khandagiri (19), Nayapalli and Unit-8 (14 each), and Old Town (12).
The number of patients who during this period was 389. The city now has 1484 active cases.
The aggregate caseload of the city reached 88,862, while 430 people have died due to coronavirus and 86,927 have recovered.
