Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 death toll in Odisha rose to 514 on Wednesday with 11 more patients succumbing to the infection in the last 24 hours.
The Health Department identified the deceased as:
1. A 57-year-old male from Balasore district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
2. A 57-year-old male from Bhadrak district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
3. A 62-year-old male from Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
4. A 57-year-old female from Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension and Hypothyroidism.
5.A 63-year-old female from Ganjam district.
6. A 35-year-old male from Ganjam district.
7. A 56-year-old male from Ganjam district who was also suffering from Hypertension
8. A 90-year-old male from Jagatsingpur district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
9. A 52-year-old male from Puri district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
10. A 64-year-old male from Rayagada district who was also suffering from Hypertension and Anemia.
11. A 58-year-old female from Sambalpur district.
With these 11 new casualties, the virus has so far claimed 194 lives in Ganjam district, followed by 69 in Khurda, 36 in Sundargarh, 32 in Cuttack, 26 in Rayagada, 18 in Gajapati, 16 in Puri, 15 each in 14 in Sambalpur and Nayagarh, 12 in Balasore, 10 in Kandhamal, nine each in Bargarh and Bhadrak, seven in Malkangiri, six each in Jajpur and Keonjhar, five each in Mayurbhanj and Balangir, four each in Jagatsinghpur and Angul, three each in Koraput and Kendrapada, two each in Sonepur, Dhenkanal, Nabarangpur and Kalahandi and one in Jharsuguda.
