Bhubaneswar: In an attempt to provide medical assistance to livestock owners during emergency, the Veterinary Hospital at Saheed Nagar here will remain open round the clock.
The decision was taken as part of the 5T initiative under Mo Sarkar, the Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department said on Monday.
The Chief Veterinary Officer of Khurda district will ensure that medical assistance is provided round the clock at the hospital.
Veterinary doctors from Veterinary Officers’ Training Institute at Laxmi Sagar will team up with the veterinary doctors of the hospital to work in shifts.
