Cuttack: A youth went missing after jumping into the Mahanadi off Mundali bridge in Odisha’s Cuttack on Thursday.
According to sources, the youth kept his helmet, and mobile phone on his scooty and jumped into the Mahanadi around 3 pm. Locals informed Baranga police about the incident.
While fire services personnel have begun a search operation, police said that he belongs to Bhaubeswar and his family have been informed about it. They got his details from the phone number.
He was yet to be traced till the filing of the report.
On October 23, a youth of Bhubaneswar had jumped into Bindu Sagar and his body was retrieved from the water body a day later.
