Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in the capital city continues to be stable below the 300 mark, with 291 new positive cases reported in the last 24 hours. The city had registered 231 positive cases on Sunday and 211 the previous day.
Of the new cases on the day, 86 were from quarantine and 205 were local contacts, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated in its tweet.
The death toll too has gone up to 475, with five more deaths registered on the day.
As many as 357 patients have recovered from the infection while the city has 1,147 active cases.
Till now, 89,998 patients have recovered from the virus. The total number of cases in Bhubaneswar has now gone up to 91,641.
