Mumbai: ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’-fame actress Bhumi Pednekar turned 31 on Saturday and amidst the ongoing pandemic, her only birthday wish is a COVID-19 vaccine.
“My birthday wish for this year is that all the people who are affected by the virus and all the people that are vulnerable because of the situation currently, get some peace, get happiness and we truly find a solution or a vaccine for COVID-19,” said Bhumi.
Talking about her celebrations on D-day, Bhumi said that it’s going to be quite different this year as she won’t be meeting anyone. However, it will be a special moment as she will be spending time with her family members.
“Actually, I am very big on birthdays. I include a lot of people, a lot of my loved ones. I get pampered a lot but I think this year I am just going to be with my mom and my sister. We would probably be on Zoom call with everyone that I love,” said the actress.
Bhumi has been utilizing lockdown time to write and watch useful content, in digital collaborations, doing meditation and household chores.
On the work front, Bhumi will be next seen in ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’, ‘Durgavati’, ‘Takht’ and ‘Badhaai Do’.
