Bigg Boss 18: Chahat Pandey Opens Up After Her Unexpected Eviction From Salman-Hosted Reality Show

Mumbai: Popular ‘Bigg Boss 18’ contestant Chahat Pandey has broken her silence after her unexpected eviction from the Salman Khan-hosted reality show.

Chahat, who has been making news over her personal life after her mother’s outburst in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, was evicted from the house because of insufficient public votes.

Chahat defended her mother’s emotional outburst, saying that her reaction was due to bottled-up anger and hurt.

“The things my mother said were a reflection of a mother’s love and anger. She couldn’t take that Avinash was condemning and badmouthing me. No mother can tolerate such things being said about her daughter,” she said.

Sharing that her journey in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house was quite challenging for a simple and innocent girl like her, Chahat said, “I was myself throughout the show. I know I cry a lot about little things, but I tried to control my emotions to the best of my capacity.”

“Karan and Vivian are likely to win, but I’ll be very happy if Chum takes home the trophy. I relate to her a lot because she’s a small-town girl like me. It’s incredible to come from a small town and earn recognition in a big city, so I hope she wins,” she said.

Addressing her issues with fellow-contestant Rajat, whom she found difficult to trust in the Bigg Boss house, Chahat said: “Rajat doesn’t stand by his words. He’s a paltu, as they say in the house. He would say a lot of things behind my back and laugh at my expense. But my nature is such that if someone talks to me nicely, I forget everything.”

“While I was bidding farewell, I said ‘achhe se khelna,’ and Rajat replied, ‘bol kaun raha hain.’ That hurt. Those were my last moments in the house; he should have spared me his taunts at least then,” she said while sharing her final bittersweet moments in the house.

“Apne unique personality se kiya tha inhone sabhi ko entertain. Ups and downs se bhari inki journey ka yahi hota hai the end! (She entertained everyone with her unique personality. This is the end of her journey full of ups and downs),” wrote the producers of the show on Instagram, while announcing Chahat Pandey’s elimination.

The top seven contestants who made it to the finale include Darang, Karan Veer, Dsena, Rajat Dalal, Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh and Shirodkar. The grand finale episode will air on January 19.
