Mumbai: YouTuber Gaurav Taneja’s name has been doing the rounds on social media as one of the probable participants in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show ‘Bigg Boss 19’.
However, the YouTuber rubbished such reports and claimed that ‘Bigg Boss’ makers pay paparazzi pages to promote the show using celebrity names.
Gaurav further revealed that he was offered the show before the COVID-19 era, but he turned it down.
“Arre bhai, nahi jaa raha main Bigg Boss 19. Logon ne pareshan kar diya hai. Koi PR page hai, usne laga di meri photo ke main jaa raha hoon, aur bhi teen chaar log hain (I am not going to Bigg Boss 19. People have been troubling me. A PR page posted my photo saying I’m going, along with three or four other people.),” Gaurav clarified in his recent vlog.
“Social media pe aap kabhi kuch danke ki chot pe nahi bol sakte ke ‘main kabhi Bigg Boss jaunga hi nahi’. Toh kuch aisa hai nahi, par haan, main iss baar toh nahi jaa raha.(You can never say with certainty on social media that you’ll never do Bigg Boss. It’s not like that, but yes, I’m not going this time),” he stated.
The ‘Bigg Boss’ makers are yet to respond to Gaurav’s claims.
The upcoming season of ‘Bigg Boss’, scheduled to premiere on August 30, will include artificial intelligence (AI) as a key element.
The show is also set to undergo multiple format changes, with a major twist in the elimination process.
A source told The Indian Express that housemates will have the power to take critical decisions, including eviction, in the upcoming season of Bigg Boss.
