Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in the Millennium City touched 3,528 on Monday with the highest single-day spike of 310 new positive cases.
According to the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 105 are local contact cases while 144 are from home quarantine, 11 from New Nimba Sahi containment zone and 50 from institutional quarantine.
21 among the new infections have been reported from the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital here while 14 are COVID warriors.

Moreover, a particular building at Kumbhara Sahi (Ward No 26) has been declared as a ‘Micro Containment Zone’ after the detection of 24 positive cases among nine families staying in the building.
The civic body also informed about 155 more patients recovering from the infection.
With 20 deaths and 2113 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 1395 active cases.
