Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Sunday reported the highest single-day spike of 4330 cases, which took the affected tally to 1,79,880.
According to I & PR Department, 2556 are quarantine and 1774 are local contact cases.
While Khurda district continues to lead the chart with 644 cases, Cuttack comes next with 549 followed by Puri (292), Kandhamal (178), Angul (176), Jagatsinghpur (167), Jajpur (158), Jharsuguda (153), Mayurbhanj (152), Nabarangpur (133), Sundargarh (123), Balasore (121), Keonjhar (118), Kendrapada (107), Sambalpur (107), Kalahandi (100), Bargarh (99), Koraput (94), Rayagada (85), Balangir (79), Bhadrak (74), Dhenkanal (67), Malkangiri (63), Nuapada (62), Nayagarh (53), Ganjam (51), Boudh (47), Sonepur (25), Gajapati (16) and Deogarh (12) State Pool 225
The remaining 225 new cases are from state pool.
The state now has 1,41,657 recovered and 37,469 active cases.
