Patna: More than two hours after the counting started, the Mahagathbandhan alliance of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), the Congress and Left parties, is locked in an intense fight with Bihar’s ruling NDA comprising BJP and JD(U).
RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan’s chief ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav was leading while his brother Tej Pratap Yadav was trailing from their respective constituencies.
According to trends, BJP was leading in 69 seats, JD(U) in 47, RJD in 69, Congress in 25 and LJP in 8 seats.
