Bihar Villager Marries Wife To Her Boyfriend!

PATNA: He is magnanimous and how! A villager in Bihar has gone ahead and done what no urban man living in the city would have the courage to do. In what has become the talk of the town, the villager,  a resident of Bhagalpur district married off his wife to her boyfriend, so that she could live happily ever after and even gave their two-and-a-half year old son to the new couple as a wedding gift!

The wedding took place in Jagdishpur block of Bhagalpur district a couple of days back.

As per media reports, the youth had married a girl from Godda district in Jharkhand for about four years. The couple had a son and they were living happily in a rented room in Salepur locality of the town. However, there was a twist in the tale when the youth was arrested in a criminal case and sent to jail.

While the husband was incarcerated, the woman became close to her landlord’s son, Monu Kumar Singh 20 and both started meeting frequently. Very soon, their meeting blossomed into a love story and they vowed to live together come what may.

Meanwhile, the man returned home from jail and was shocked to learn that his wife was having an affair. He tried hard to convince her but she was adamant on living with her boyfriend.

Eventually, the man got his wife married to her boyfriend in the presence of local villagers and saw her off with a heavy heart.

“The youth married his wife to her boyfriend with the consent of the two families at the village court with local villagers as witnesses,” a local sarpanch, Pawan Kumar Sah told the media on Tuesday.
