Bijay Ranjan Singh Bariha, BJD MLA From Odisha’s Padampur, Passes Away

Bhubaneswar: Bijay Ranjan Singh Bariha, BJD MLA from Odisha’s Padampur constituency and former minister, passed away at a private hospital in the state capital on Sunday night. He was 64.

Bariha was undergoing treatment at the hospital for kidney-related ailments.

He was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly five times from the Padampur constituency.

Bariha’s mortal remains will be taken to the Odisha Assembly and BJD headquarters for leaders from all political parties to pay homage to the departed leader. His body will then be taken to his ancestral house at Padampur.
