Bhubaneswar: The BJP and Congress on Thursday announced the list of their star campaigners for the ensuing by-election to Bijepur Assembly on October 21.
The 24 star campaigners of the BJP are Jagat Prakash Nadda, Arun Singh, Dharmendra Pradhan, Smriti Zubin Irani, Pratap Sarangi, Giridhar Gamang, Jual Oram, Baijayant Panda, Suresh Pujari, Sambit Patra, Manoj Tiwari, Basant Panda, Bijoy Mahapatra, Pradipta Nayak, KV Singh Deo, Sangeeta Singh Deo, Aparajita Sarangi, Nitish Gangadev, Jayanarayan Mishra and Pradip Purohit.
On the other hand, Congress has announced a list of 40 star campaigners. They are Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Priyanka Gandhi, Jitender Singh, TS Singh Deo, Niranjan Patnaik, Narasingha Mishra, Bhupesh Baghel, Rama Chandra Khuntia, Anand Sharma, Jyotiradiya Scindia, Sachin Pilot, Manish Tiwari, G Rudra Raju, Anil Choudhury, Mastan Vali, Aditya Sharma, Chiranjeev Biswal, Pradip Majhi, Ranjib Biswa, Bhakta Charan Das, Jayadev Jena, Sarat Patnaik, Prasad Harichandan, Santosh Singh Saluja, Tara Prasad Bahinipati, Suresh Routray, Ramesh Jena, Mohd Moquim, Dasarathi Gamang, Adhiraj Mohan Panigrahi, CS Rajan Ekka, Saptagiri Ullaka, Bijaylaxmi Sahu, Sasmita Behera, Bandita Parida, Jagneswar Babu, Gyanadeb Beura and Hamid Hussain.
