Kandhamal: Unidentified persons allegedly snatched a bank, containing Rs 17.5 lakh, from a trader and his manager while they were on their way to a bank at Phulbani town in Odisha’s Kandhamal district on a motorcycle on Monday.
According to sources, trader Ajay Patra and his manager were followed by two persons on a motorcycle in the forenoon. They snatched the bag and speeded away even before they could realise what had just happened.
Police have registered a case and examining footage of CCTV cameras to identify the culprits, sources added.
