Bike-Borne Youth Cut Into Two Parts In Road Accident In Odisha’s Sundargarh

Rourkela: In a gruesome accident, a youth going on a bike was cut into to pieces by an iron angle erected on road divider in Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Tuesday evening.

According to sources, the youth, whose identity has not been ascertained, was going on the motorcycle from Rajmunda to Rourkela on National Highway 143 at around 6 pm.

He was first hit by something and lost control over the bike near Darjing in Lahunipada. As his bike rode over the road divider in high speed, he was hit by the iron angle fixed on it.

On its impact, the youth’s body was cut into two parts and thrown over the road, eyewitnesses said.

On being informed, a team from Lahunipada police station went to the spot and sent the body parts of the deceased youth for post-mortem. The have started investigation to identify the youth.
