Kalahandi: Three persons, including 2 brothers, were killed after their motorcycle hit a roadside tree near Murlapada under Junagadh police limits in Odisha’s Kalahandi district late on Monday.
The three deceased have been identified as Pintu Majhi, Sadanand Majhi of Meriabandhali village and Raju Bagarti of Chanchara Bhadi village.
According to sources, the accident took place when four persons were on their way to Junagarh from Jharbandh on a bike. All four sustained serious injuries after the bike crashed into a roadside tree.
The locals rushed them to a local hospital, where the doctor pronounced Pintu, Sadanand and Raju brought dead.
The critically injured, Mukesh Majhi of Jharbandh village, is under treatment at the hospital.
