Biker Fined Rs 22,500 Under MV Act In Odisha’s Sundargarh

Rourkela: A biker was fined Rs 22,500 for drunk driving and other violations of rules under the Motor Vehicle Act here on Saturday night.

As per sources, the enforcement officials of Transport Department were carrying out a surveillance on Biju Expressway at Rajgangpur on Saturday night.

As per reports, the biker was riding under the influence of alcohol and not possessing a driving licence nor did he have the valid insurance for the two-wheeler.

Fine for drunken driving was Rs 10,000 while Rs 5,000 was added to the penalty for driving without a valid DL.
