Biker Killed As Bus Hits Him On Flyover In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A man going on a bike was killed after being hit by a bus from behind on a flyover in Bhubaneswar on Sunday evening.

According to sources, the man was coming from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar on the flyover when the private bus coming from the same direction hit him from behind near Vani Vihar square in the city.

While the biker died on the spot, the locals stopped the bus and informed the police. A team from Sheed Nagar police station went to the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

The police have seized the bus and detained its driver. They have registered a case and started investigation.

The identity of the victim has not been confirmed.
