Nuapada: A biker was killed after being hit by a speeding truck near Amasena Chhak under Khariaroad police limits in Nuapada district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Krishna Jagat of Porakada village in the district.
The accident took place when the truck rammed into the motorcycle Krishna was riding. He died on the spot.
Following the accident, some locals detained the truck driver and informed police.
The truck has been seized and the body sent for postmortem, police sources said.
