Koraput: In a tragic incident, a biker died in a road accident on NH-26 near Doliagram square under Semiliguda block in Koraput district on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Santosh Kumar Behera of Malkangiri.
According to sources, the accident took place when Behera was on his way to his home in Malkangiri from Potangi. A truck hit him, following which, he died on the spot.
Notably the mishap took place as he was driving while talking over phone, said the locals.
He was identified with the help of his Adhaar card.
On being informed by the locals, Semiliguda police reached the spot and seized the motorcycle and body.
