New Delhi: Jay Kotak, son of billionaire banker Uday Kotak, got married to former Miss India Aditi Arya on Tuesday at Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai. Other functions were held in Udaipur, moneycontrol reported.

The two had met at a party a few years ago but the interaction lasted for a few minutes. Kotak had then messaged her on Instagram after which the two became close.

It was rumoured that Jay Kotak and Aditi Arya got engaged in August 2022. A picture of the couple posing in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris after the engagement was also unearthed. However, neither of them had confirmed the rumours until Kotak shared the update earlier this year on X.

“Aditi, my fiancée, completed her MBA from Yale University today. Immensely proud of you Aditi Arya,” Kotak wrote sharing two pictures showing Aditi Arya in her graduation robes.

Jay  Kotak, the co-head of digital bank Kotak811, holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in History from Columbia University. His father, Uday Kotak, is the founder of Kotak Mahindra Bank and worth over $1.3 billion.

Arya graduated from Delhi University’s Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies and worked as a research analyst at Ernst & Young. She was crowned Miss India World in 2015. She went on to represent India at the Miss World pageant. She appeared in a handful of Hindi and Telugu movies, including Ranveer Sing starrer “83” before moving to the US to get her MBA degree from Yale University. She graduated in May this year.
