Bhubaneswar: Former governor and Odisha’s veteran leader Biswabhusan Harichandan has been appointed as Chairman of advisory council of the Centre for Narendra Modi Studies at Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh.
The appointment of Harichandan was taken during the Centre’s executive council meeting on December 3, a release from the institution stated on Saturday.
Harichandan’s appointment would help propel the mission of intellectual engagement and impactful programmes, it added.
Harichandan, who held minister posts in Odisha, had earlier served as Governor of Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh.
