Bhubaneswar: Bargarh police have detained two students in connection with the case in which eight students were found to have submitted fake disability certificates for admission to BJB Autonomous College in Odisha’s Capital.
Police are currently questioning both students.
After the incident came to light on Tuesday, college authorities had filed an FIR.
Four are from Cuttack district and four others hail from Bhadrak district, college principal Niranjan Mishra had said.
The principal told mediapersons that they filed the case with Bargarh police station and informed the government authorities after the chief district medical officer intimated that his office had not issued the certificates in question.
