‘BJB Friends’ To Reunite In Bhubaneswar On December 17

Bhubaneswar: ‘BJB friends’, the Alumni Association of Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Autonomous College in Bhubaneswar, is all set to organise friends’ reunion on December 17.

This information was given at a press conference held by BJB Friends in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

Ahead of the main programme, members of ‘BJB Friends’ will take out a torch procession from Barunei hill to the college campus where the statue of Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar will be garlanded.

Alumnus of the college and acting Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court Justice B R Sarangi and advocate general Ashok Parija have given their consent to attend the event as guests. They will be felicitated on the occasion.

The winners of the quiz competition held on December 2 will also be felicitated. A meeting will be organised during this programme and many dignitaries and former students are expected to attend the reunion.

While BJB Friends is carrying out various social and philanthropic activities, this year too, blood donation programme has been planned. Various cultural programs are also being organised.

The press conference held at the office of BJB Friends was attended by the President of the Association Debasish Patnaik, secretary Satyabrat Dhupal and other members.
